searching poetry along childhood’s creek
chest was scratched by pastlife pride
shore painted the ocean on its walls
poet was amazed by his own glow
i remained smiling, poet blushed
my chest, cropped by misfortune
poet stole the wallpainting
then captured it inside his poem
in my mind poet wandered
strolling along rivers and valleys
i was cast ashore
poet vomitted, drunk of nira
hence i went home to mother’s hold
poet angered in doubt
